Hôtel de Crillon, Paris

An encounter filled with luxury, history, art, and beauty at every turn is what keeps discerning travellers coming back to the Hôtel de Crillon. It feels intimate because of the sensationally personal service, but it also feels ultra-luxurious because of the stellar amenities and remarkable details like the inner courtyard and picturesque views of Paris from the hotel’s terraces.

The 18th-century décor is the first sign that the Hôtel de Crillon knows how to surround guests with the French art of living well. From keeping you in shape via the modern fitness centre to providing a relaxing massage in the privacy of your own room, the hotel is well acquainted with pampering. And when it comes time to dine, the choices are sublime.

The 103 rooms, 39 suites, and five luxury apartments offer the perfect accommodation for every need. Each accommodation offers an individual design and colour scheme, along with generous proportions and grand appointments. For a taste of the truly opulent, select the Louis XV suite, which has the feel of a royal palace. The painted wood panelling, silk furnishings, and dazzling views from the terrace make it among the most glamorous apartments in the city.

Dining
Chef Jean-François Piège has designed a classic French menu—with a few modern twists—for the hotel’s signature restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs. The combination of fresh seasonal ingredients, marvellously refined décor, and an award-winning wine steward make this a can’t-miss treat. A model Parisian lounge that attracts everyone from journalists to celebrities, The Bar offers delightful cocktails, upscale bar food, and piano entertainment. The romantic Winter Garden is a lovely spot to enjoy a light bite throughout the day. The Obélisque is a bistro-style setting serving a selection of relaxed French dishes from Chef Piège, and the Central Courtyard at the Crillon is an outdoor oasis of warmth in which to enjoy drinks and small meals.

Spa
The well-equipped fitness centre offers state-of-the-art cardio and weight training; personal instruction; and wellness programs including reiki, massages, and nutrition advice. Manicures, pedicures, and other salon services are available as well.
Hotel Features

Remaining a family home until the early 20th century, it’s now in private hands, belonging to famous French family, the Taittingers.
